CONSUMER HEALTH DATA PRIVACY POLICY

Effective: 2026-10-03

This policy is for people in Washington State and anyone else covered by Washington's My Health My Data Act. It explains how Forge Labs LLC (“Fit File Forge”) handles “consumer health data”. Our full Privacy Policy covers everything else. We do not sell consumer health data.

What we collect

Data about your training and body that you give us, or that your Garmin device records and you allow Garmin to share with us: heart rate during activities, power, cadence, pace, training load, the thresholds and zones in your Athlete Profile or estimated from your activities (such as max and threshold heart rate, threshold pace, FTP and swim CSS), anything else you choose to put in your profile (such as weight), and coach notes, messages and files that may mention an injury or illness.

We do not collect sleep, HRV, stress, steps, Body Battery or other all-day health data.

Why we collect and use it

To provide the service you ask for: building and adjusting your workouts and plans, coaching you, analysing your activities, and showing you your training. We don't use it for advertising.

Where it comes from

From you (what you type, enter in your profile or attach), and from Garmin when you allow “Activities” sharing in Garmin Connect.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that run Fit File Forge for us: OpenAI (the AI behind workouts and your coach), Vercel (hosting and attached files), Neon (our database) and Resend (emails such as your weekly plan, which can mention your training).
  • Garmin: the workouts you send to your watch.
  • AI apps you connect, only with your separate consent: ChatGPT (OpenAI) or Claude (Anthropic), when you connect them and tick the box to share. Disconnect at any time in Settings → Connected Apps (details).

We have no affiliates that receive it, and we may disclose it if the law requires.

Your rights

  • Know and access: ask whether we have your consumer health data, for a copy of it, and for a list of everyone we shared it with.
  • Withdraw consent: disconnect Garmin sharing in Garmin Connect or an AI app in Settings → Connected Apps.
  • Delete: use Settings → Data & Account (“Delete my activity data”, “Clear coach conversation, goals and notes”, or delete your account), or ask us.

To make a request, email privacy@fitfileforge.com from your account's email address. We answer within 45 days. If we decline, you can appeal by replying to our answer; we answer appeals within 45 days, and if we deny yours you can contact the Washington State Attorney General. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
