ABOUT
CALEB
Hey there! I'm Caleb Wetherell, a Seattle-based data scientist and endurance athlete. I build tools that scratch my own itch—usually at the intersection of data, technology, and athletics.
Why I Built This
Fit File Forge was born from frustration. I love structured workouts—intervals, tempo runs, complex brick sessions—but I hated the tedious process of building them in Garmin Connect.
What if you could just describe what you want and have it appear on your watch? That's the idea. Write it like you'd tell a friend, and let AI handle the translation into Garmin's structured format.
I built this for myself first, then figured other runners and cyclists might find it useful too.

Pawnalyze
Chess Analytics & Predictions
Tournament simulations, Elo predictions, and the Elocator complexity analysis tool. Featured in The New York Times and NPR.

Always Building Something
I'm a serial hobbyist who can't stop starting projects. Usually involving data, sports, or both.
